Welcome to EduComp (educomp.in). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services (the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. About EduComp
EduComp is an education comparison platform. It lets students and parents search and compare coaching institutes and courses (such as NEET, JEE, UPSC, Banking & SSC and CA Foundation), and lets institutes list their courses and receive enquiries. EduComp is an independent platform and is not affiliated with educomp.com.

2. Important notice for students and parents
All details on the Platform, including fees, batch size, faculty ratings, results and features, are provided by the respective institutions. EduComp does not verify or guarantee this information and is not responsible for any wrong commitment or misstatement made by an institution. Please confirm all details directly with the institute before you enrol.
- EduComp is a comparison and discovery tool. It is not a coaching provider and does not enrol students.
- Any admission, payment, fee, refund or service dispute is solely between you and the institute.
- Faculty ratings and success rates shown are as submitted by institutes and are not an endorsement by EduComp.
- Enquiries from minors should be made by, or with the consent of, a parent or guardian.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Platform with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Institutes and partners must be legally able to enter into a binding contract in India.
4. Accounts
- Institutes and referral partners must provide accurate, complete and current information when registering.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Tell us immediately at info@educomp.in if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that give false information, break these Terms or misuse the Platform.
5. Terms for institutes
- Listing fee: Listing on the Platform requires payment of the annual fee displayed at registration, plus applicable taxes. Fees may change for future registrations and renewals.
- What the fee includes: The listing of up to the stated number of courses under one login, the ability to edit course details, and receipt of visitor enquiries. The listing is valid for 12 months from the date of activation.
- Accuracy: You are fully responsible for the accuracy of everything you list, including fees, faculty, batch size, results and claims. You must not publish false, misleading or exaggerated information.
- Rights to content: You confirm you have the right to publish the content you submit. You give EduComp a non-exclusive licence to display it on the Platform and in related promotion.
- No guarantee of results: EduComp does not guarantee any number of enquiries, admissions, rankings or revenue.
- Handling enquiries: You must contact students only for the purpose of their enquiry, use their data lawfully, and respect requests to stop contacting them.
- Renewal: Listings expire at the end of the term unless renewed. After expiry, your listing may be hidden or removed.
6. Terms for referral partners
- Partners receive a personal referral code and may earn commission when an institute registers using the code and completes payment.
- The commission rate or amount is as shown in the partner's account or as agreed in writing by EduComp, and may differ between partners.
- Commission is payable only after EduComp has actually received the institute's payment, and may be withheld or reversed if the payment is refunded, cancelled, charged back or found to be fraudulent.
- Partners must be truthful with institutes. They must not make false promises, guarantees of enquiries or admissions, or any claim not authorised by EduComp.
- Partners are independent and are not employees, agents or legal representatives of EduComp. Partners are responsible for their own taxes on commission earned. EduComp may deduct tax at source where the law requires.
- Referral codes cannot be used for self-referral, fake registrations or any misuse. EduComp may block a partner and cancel unpaid commission for violations.
7. Payments
- Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways such as PayU. Your card, UPI or bank details are handled by the gateway and not stored by EduComp.
- A listing is activated only after the gateway confirms the payment to our server.
- All fees are in Indian Rupees. Applicable taxes, including GST where relevant, may be added.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, defamatory, unlawful or offensive content
- Submit fake enquiries or fake listings, or spam institutes or students
- Scrape, copy, resell or republish Platform data without written permission
- Try to hack, disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Platform
- Impersonate any person or institution
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
9. Intellectual property
The EduComp name, logo, design, text, and software are owned by or licensed to EduComp and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify or distribute them without our written permission. Institute names, logos and content remain the property of the respective institutes.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that information on it is complete, accurate or up to date. We do not guarantee the quality, results or suitability of any institute or course.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EduComp will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or loss of profit, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform or from any dealing with an institute. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the amount you paid to EduComp in the 12 months before the claim arose, if any.
12. Indemnity
You agree to compensate and hold harmless EduComp and its founder, team and partners from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) caused by your content, your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.
13. Termination
We may suspend or end your access at any time if you break these Terms or misuse the Platform. You may stop using the Platform at any time. Sections that by nature should continue after termination will continue to apply.
14. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept them.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [Add your city, State], India. We encourage you to contact us first at info@educomp.in so we can try to resolve the matter informally.
